Reimagining The Bellevue Community Center
The City of Bellevue is currently engaged in a Community Center Replacement Study to evaluate existing conditions, assess current and future community needs, and identify opportunities for investment and improvement. The study will establish a long term vision and provide recommendations to guide the planning and development of a community facility that supports recreation, wellness, and community services for years to come.
As part of the process, community engagement activities will be conducted to gather input from residents, stakeholders, and community partners. This feedback will help ensure the final recommendations reflect local priorities, community needs, and aspirations while informing the future of a community facility that serves Bellevue for years to come.
Project Update: June 2026 📣
The project consultant team officially met with the Steering Committee to launch the project and formally begin Phase I. The kickoff meeting established the project purpose, introduced the planning approach and timeline, and initiated early discussions to help guide future analysis and decision making.
Throughout June, the consultant team will complete a preliminary existing conditions assessment of the site and existing facilities. This initial phase of analysis will evaluate current conditions, opportunities, and constraints and serve as a foundational step in informing early concept development and brainstorming of future design and improvement ideas.
